As I write this, its past midnight here and India has just lost their 7th wicket in their first one dayer against South Africa in Durban. The 'Blue Billions' seem to switching off their T.V sets in the neighbouring homes and the leftover Diwali crackers have to be sent back to the attic for another day. Greg Chappel had said before the match " it would be difficult to imagine that this kind of intense preparation would not show during the matches" but that is precisely what has happened. Even 'The Wall' fell down today, with little resistance.Why is India so completely helpless on foreign soil ?
